scripps ranch commerce advocacy group
The Scripps Ranch Commerce Advocacy Group (sr.cag), formerly known as SRCAG, is a 501(c)(3) start-up that leverages public and donated data to create python-based machine learning platforms designed to enhance consumer engagement and growth for small businesses in san diego. the mission is to empower local businesses by providing them with advanced data insights and tools to boost their visibility and connect with their community.
how it works
data collection
public and donated data is gathered from various sources, such as government databases, local business directories, and community contributions. this data provides the foundation for our projects and helps us understand local consumer trends.
model creation
using python and machine learning techniques, data is analyzed and processed to build predictive models that offer predicted values or analytic insights for small businesses. our models identify consumer behavior patterns, growth opportunities, and market trends
results display
the insights and predictions generated by our models are visualized and shared on our website for easy access. local businesses can explore these results to understand consumer trends and make data-driven decisions related to finance, entertainment, and administration
open source deployment
all of our code and models are deployed as open source, making it available for anyone to replicate, modify, improve, and most importantly use. sr.cag believes in collaboration and encouragement across students and professionals of all backgrounds others to build on our work to create even more impactful software tools to enhance the small business community
